Spa La Manga Club FAQ's
When is the spa open?
For your convenience, the Spa is open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, seven days a week. I am not sure which is the best treatment for me.
Can I get help?
Of course, just contact Spa Reception and they will be pleased to help you choose the ideal treatment programme for you.
What if I have specific health concerns?
It is important that you tell Spa La Manga Club about any particular health conditions (such as high blood pressure, allergies, injuries or disabilities) and concerns when you book. If you experience any discomfort during treatment, please let your therapist know straight away.
Are spa treatments suitable during pregnancy?
Although there are a few specific treatments that are not recommended during pregnancy, there are many that are not only enjoyable, but can also help you relax and relieve some of the symptoms of pregnancy. Please tell the spa if you are pregnant when you book so that they can guide you in your choice of treatments.
When should I arrive?
To get the most out of your spa experience, it is recommended that you arrive 30 minutes before your appointment. That way you will have time to relax beforehand and enjoy the spa facilities such as the sauna, steam room and jacuzzis. All treatments start punctually at the scheduled time. If you are late, there will simply be less time available for your treatment, thus reducing your enjoyment and its effectiveness. There will be no reduction in treatment charges due to late arrival.
What should I wear?
There are ample changing facilities at the spa, so you can arrive wearing your normal clothes. Please note that swimsuits must be worn in all public areas, such as the unisex saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis and indoor pool. Robes and slippers are provided for your comfort before and after treatment. During treatment your body will be fully draped except for the area being worked on, but please feel free to wear whatever is comfortable for you.
Is there anywhere to leave my valuables?
Whilst lockers are available at the spa for your personal belongings, it is recommended that you leave jewellery and valuables at home, or in the safety deposit box of your guest room.
What if I feel uncomfortable?
Spa La Manga Club want you to enjoy your time to the full. If there is anything they can do to increase your comfort (whether it is adjusting the volume of the music, the massage pressure, the temperature or anything else) please let the spa know. Mobile phones and pagers should be turned off in the spa.
Should I shave before my treatment?
For maximum benefit, men should shave two hours or more before having a facial treatment, although it is not essential. Shaving is not recommended less than two hours before a facial or prior to any body treatments or hair removal services.
What is the minimum age?
Although the minimum age is normally 18 years, the spa is happy to provide advice regarding suitable treatments for teens. Those aged 16-18 years may use the gymnasium provided they are accompanied by an adult. The indoor swimming pool is open to everyone over the age of 16 years and to under 16's when accompanied by an adult. Standard charges and conditions apply in all cases.
What if I need to change or cancel my appointment?
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify Spa La Manga Club six hours in advance to avoid being charged the full service fee. Cancellations of packages or private parties require 24 hours' notice. A credit card number is required at the time you book your treatments.
How can I pay for Spa services?
Spa La Manga Club accept all major credit cards and cash. If you are staying at the Hyatt Regency La Manga hotel or Las Lomas Village & Spa you may also charge spa services to your room account.
Should I leave a tip?
If you were pleased with the services you received, please feel free to leave a gratuity which will be distributed to the spa staff who served you during your visit.
Do you sell Gift Certificates?
Absolutely. You may purchase Spa Gift Certificates to a specific value or for particular services. Spa La Manga Club Gift Certificates can be used towards services or purchases in the Spa Boutique.
